Epilogue
Allison is buried in a small cemetery in Stephentown, our final stop on our long journey. Someday, I will be by her side again. Chief Rik, her hairdresser Deb, Ann, Fred and his mother, my childhood friend Craig and his wife Jan, and my son Rob came to her graveside service. I would be honored to talk with anybody else who is also going through their own JHD Journey. It is not easy, and I know that I will never be the same again.

She also leaves her brother, Robert King of Waltham, MA, her maternal grandmother, Margaret Richardson of Warner Robins, GA, and her aide, Ann Calabro of Grafton, NY, who helped care for Allison.
